We’re looking for a Water Resources Practice Leader to lead this practice across all U.S. locations, driving strategy, technical excellence, and growth. Practice leaders at AE2S focus on the Technologies, Trends, and Training for their respective practices. If you are a recognized leader in flood risk mitigation, drought risk planning, urban stormwater planning, or erosion control and restoration this is your chance to make a national impact. Why this Opportunity is Different This is not a regional role, As Water Resources Practice Leader, you will: Build, scale and shape AE2S’s national Water Resources strategy Expand and strengthen technical capabilities across multiple states Influence project delivery across multiple states Collaborate with leadership across operations, client development and strategy Responsibilities You’ll lead the strategy, technical direction, and growth of AE2S’s Water Resources Practice nationwide. Set and drive the national vision for how we provide water resources services Partner across regions to grow teams, capabilities, and market presence Lead technical direction and elevate quality across all water resources projects Identify emerging water resources trends, regulations, and innovations and turn them into strategy Support major pursuits and build strong, lasting client relationships Mentor and develop engineers and technical staff across all offices What Success Looks Like Growth and expansion of AE2S’ Water Resources practice nationwide A strong and visible technical leadership presence in the market Strong client relationships and project wins High-performing, engaged teams across offices Advancement of innovative water resources solutions and best practices Why AE2S Build Your Future. Compensation And Total Rewards The anticipated salary range for this position is: $120,000-$200,000+ This salary range represents AE2S's good-faith estimate at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, technical expertise, licensure, certifications, education, geographic location, internal equity, and business needs. Our comprehensive benefits program includes: 100-percent company-paid family health Insurance 100-percent company-paid employee dental and vision insurance Company-paid short-term and long-term disability coverage Paid Time Off (PTO), including credits for prior experience Paid parental leave Basic Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain within 6 months) 10 or more years of experience in water resources 2 or more years of leadership experience leading teams, initiatives, or practice areas Demonstrated track record of technical excellence Proven ability to communicate effectively with clients, the public, and other employees Proven ability to develop, win, and retain client relationships Ability to travel periodically to support conferences, project pursuits, client meetings, and other business development activities All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations Preferred Qualifications Experience leading complex internal initiatives and external projects Ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously Reputation for integrity, sound judgment, and leadership within the organization and industry Ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines and geographies Demonstrated leadership and decision-making capability Physical Qualifications Ability to walk up to 3 miles on uneven terrain Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time Occasionally climb, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist Occasionally lift, carry, push, and pull light to moderate amounts of weight May require lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds, with rare lifting of up to 50 pounds Ability to inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects May be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) including but not limited to flame resistant clothing, hard hat, and protective footwear May require occasional evenings and weekends with overtime expectations varying with workload May be required to travel to off-site locations including occasional overnight stays out of town AE2S is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action / Disability Employer This job was verified from LinkedIn Jobs US.
