# RN - Registered Nurse (Med-Surg) - Night Shift

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care in partnership with physicians, interdisciplinary care team, and patient/family, focusing on the provision of individualized quality patient care consistent with organizational standards. The RN is accountable for patient/family education in collaboration with interdisciplinary care team and patient/family. The RN will document nursing care and patient status in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care; provide a safe environment and promote quality patient care through adherence to established standards. The RN will also identify opportunities for and participate in performance improvement activities; demonstrate competent professional practice, and engage in opportunities for professional growth while contributing to the productivity and professional environment of the department. Current NJ RN license, BLS and IV Certified with 1-2 years of recent experience preferred. The RN must also possess exceptional customer service, communication, critical thinking, and independent decision making skills.
