ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

You will serve as a the Chief Strategist for the Electronic Warfare/Information Operations mission area code WXD in the Electromagnetic Spectrum Warfare Department for NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-6 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15 You will serve as the principle strategist in support of the WX Department achieving its objective positioning in the mission area. You will lead the Portfolio Management effort for the Electronic Warfare Mission Area. Define targets, develop, and oversee strategies for the actualization of those targets. You will work closely with Department Head, Customer Advocates, Division Managers, and others for the effective execution of Mission Area strategies. You will develop and direct the execution of a national advocacy strategy for the Mission Area. You will manage and provide customer and stakeholder visibility for Crane Division's Expeditionary Missions/Strategic Missions/Electronic Warfare Mission Areas. You will coordinate the implementation of messaging strategies to assure the wide range of stakeholders understand, support and advocate Crane Division's critical role in the Mission Areas. You will serve as a business planning resource to Division Managers and review business plans to assure plans and resources are identified to execute strategic initiatives. You will Identify, develop and manage strategic partnerships (i.e. OSD, OPNAV, Fleet, Academia)to support the Mission Area. You will collaborate with the other Chief Strategist to support strong cross Mission Area synergy Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at the next lower band, NT-05 (GS-13/14 equivalent) in the federal government or equivalent experience in the private or public sector interpreting Navy policies and procedures and providing oversight in the planning, implementation, and execution of mission aligned strategic goals for an organization.
