Become a Key Player as a Controller You will lead the accounting function to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong internal controls. You will provide management decision support, oversee cost accounting and inventory valuation, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including operations and information systems. This role is expected to operate as a full-time, onsite financial leader supporting monthly close, budgeting, and audits. Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the Team Oversee the Corporate Accounting Department to deliver timely internal and external monthly financial statements and support annual audits Analyze and interpret financial data; recommend changes to improve systems and financial performance Maintain and enforce financial controls and allocate accounting workload to support an effective control environment Provide management reporting and decision support to all departments and respond to CFO requests Coordinate development of the annual budget with all departments and present to management Oversee cost accounting functions, including inventory valuation and cost of goods sold; collaborate with Information Systems to provide timely manufacturing financial impact Participate in special projects and compile special reports; evaluate trial balances to ensure data accuracy Supervise accounting staff: interview, hire, train, assign work, appraise performance, and address employee issues Here's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This Role Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) in Business Administration or Accounting 5–7 years of experience with exposure to manufacturing, financial reporting/general ledger, cost accounting, reporting, and variance analysis Strong interpersonal and supervisory skills with ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to prepare and interpret financial reports, calculate figures (discounts, interest, percentages), and present accounting information clearly Ability to participate in and support year-end audit processes Here's What Else Might Help You Out Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (preferred) Ready to Make Your Mark?
