# MANAGMENT ANALYST

Bureau of Naval Personnel

You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the International Controls and Audit Division of BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL.
You will serve as a Continuous Process Improvement (CPI)/Lean Six Sigma (LSS) expert, leading and facilitating cross-functional command initiatives.
You will provide mentorship and guidance to command leaders, Black Belts (BBs), and Green Belts (GBs) on CPI/LSS projects and principles.
You will utilize DMAIC, Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints methodologies to analyze processes and develop data-driven solutions.
You will advise on project definition, scope, and objectives, and conduct project gate reviews to ensure results are achieved and properly measured.
You will manage the command’s portfolio of potential CPI/LSS solutions and pilots to ensure alignment with strategic organizational goals.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating the following type of duties: 1) Applying Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) and Lean Six Sigma (LSS) principles to facilitate cross-functional project teams and command initiatives; 2) Utilizing quantitative and qualitative methods to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of processes and programs; 3) Providing mentorship or training on CPI/LSS methodologies and tools, such as DMAIC, to project participants; and 4) Researching and analyzing data to develop solutions, identify process improvements, and provide recommendations to leadership.
