This role is ideal for a detail-oriented insurance professional with 3-5 years of experience who is looking to develop underwriting knowledge and build a long-term career in commercial insurance.   This role is an in-office position in our Red Bank, NJ office.    Key Responsibilities Support retail agents and underwriters by gathering required information and documentation through agency management systems, tasks, reminders, and Outlook. Order, review, and process inspections, including handling discrepancies and underwriting recommendations. Process cancellation and reinstatement notices in a timely and accurate manner. Manage pre-audit correspondence, closed-even audits, and premium-bearing audits. Report claims and provide claim reporting confirmations to agents and insureds. Process policy endorsements and related documentation. Maintain accurate underwriting files and ensure documentation is complete and up to date. Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external business partners. Assist with renewal preparation and gradually learn renewal quoting and underwriting functions to support professional development. Qualifications Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience. 3-5 years of insurance industry experience, within Commercial Property & Casualty (P&C), ideally in binding and programs. Exposure to underwriting support, policy processing, customer service, or agency operations preferred. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining high service standards. Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word; experience with agency management systems is a plus. The base salary offered for the successful candidate will be based on compensable factors such as job-relevant education, job-relevant experience, training, licensure, demonstrated competencies, geographic location, and other factors. Discretionary incentive compensation may be awarded.
