Sign On Bonus Available! Status: 40 hours per week Shift: Midnights (10-hour shifts, block scheduling, ex: 8 days on, 6 days off). Every other weekend rotation. Role Overview: As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist, you'll perform routine and complex analytic procedures on blood and other body fluids, ensuring accurate and timely results. You'll support healthcare providers by delivering critical diagnostic data, directly impacting patient care. Your expertise will drive quality improvement, research, and the adoption of new technologies, making a meaningful difference in our patients¿ lives. What You Will Do: Perform routine and complex analytic procedures on blood and other body fluids using manual techniques and laboratory instruments. Ensure consistent quality by establishing standard work and implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed. Participate in applied research and development projects to introduce new technology and improved methods. Teach and lead laboratory functions, demonstrating technical proficiency and theoretical knowledge. Required Qualifications Completion of an accredited bachelor's degree program in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Medical Technology, Medical/Clinical Laboratory Science, or other sciences. Three (3) years of experience with progressive responsibility in a clinical laboratory setting. Preferred Qualifications Certification at the technologist or medical/clinical laboratory scientist level from a nationally recognized agency (e.g., ASCP, NCA, ASM, AABB, ACS, or HEW).
