Senior Accountant – $95k-$105k Salary + Stellar Health Insurance and 20% Retirement Contribution!

Due to a recent retirement, our client is searching for an accounting professional that thrives in detail-oriented work and gets excited about being a key player with their hands in all sorts of different financial processes – this is a great role for someone adaptable who has maybe felt “siloed” at a bigger company and wants to move away from the repetitiveness of just focusing on one or two aspects of the accounting process. Key Responsibilities: Showcase your excel skills and manage the financial reporting / variance analysis on a monthly basis Manage the general ledger work, fixed asset accounting, reconciliations, and month end close activities Review the work of the AP and AR specialists with a strong attention to detail and willingness to help them as needed Partner with the Accounting Manager / Corporate Controller on process improvements and new initiatives that come up Everyone in Omaha has heard of our client and they are pivotal to our community, so this will be a fun opportunity for someone who wants to be proud to tell people where they work – you will be making a difference while working alongside smart, kind, and hardworking people every day.
