Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join a fast-growing client and play a key role in month-end close, financial reporting, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to take ownership of critical accounting functions and grow within a strong organization. Prior public accounting experience is highly preferred , particularly experience with audit, financial statement preparation, or working with multiple clients and complex accounting environments. Key Responsibilities Manage and support the month-end and year-end close processes Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements Perform detailed analysis of general ledger accounts and investigate variances Assist with financial reporting and management reporting Support annual audits and provide documentation to external auditors Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other financial analysis as needed Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information Assist with special projects and other accounting initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA or in progress preferred 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Public accounting experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with month-end close and account reconciliations Advanced Excel skills CPA or CPA-eligible is a plus
