Position Overview Our client is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead the organization's people strategy and serve as a trusted partner to executive and operational leadership. This individual will oversee core HR functions while developing programs that support employee engagement, growth, and long-term business objectives. This is a hands-on Director of Human Resources opportunity for an experienced HR professional who can balance strategic initiatives with day-to-day operations. Director Of Human Resources Key Responsibilities Develop and execute the organization's HR strategy, policies, and programs. Partner with executive leadership on workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational development. Oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and performance management. Drive engagement, retention, and leadership development initiatives. Manage HR systems, reporting, processes, and workforce metrics. Lead and develop the HR team. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Experience within union environments highly desired. 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership responsibility. Broad experience across employee relations, talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and compliance. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred.
