# Registered Nurse - Cardiac ICU

Position Overview: This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care in a specialized inpatient unit, focusing on cardiac and critical care patients. The nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized patient care, promoting safety, satisfaction, and compassionate interactions. Responsibilities include performing treatments, administering medications, coordinating interdisciplinary care, and ensuring optimal patient outcomes. The role also emphasizes patient education, discharge planning, and participation in quality and safety initiatives. Key Responsibilities Assess physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual patient needs. Develop and coordinate personalized care plans with interdisciplinary teams. Deliver direct patient care, including treatments, medications, and diagnostics. Evaluate and adjust nursing interventions based on patient responses. Collaborate with physicians and staff to address patient needs proactively. Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decisions. Engage in team activities and contribute to organizational quality and safety goals. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a specialty nursing training program, with a focus on critical or cardiac care preferred. Demonstrates strong assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, clinical environment with a commitment to safety and patient-centered care.
