You study all aspects of the contract, specifications, addendum, pre-bid information, and plans. You&nbsp;maintain&nbsp;the&nbsp;Project&nbsp;Defects&nbsp;Report&nbsp;and&nbsp;timely&nbsp;generate&nbsp;accurate&nbsp;reports&nbsp;on&nbsp;actions&nbsp;and&nbsp;trends. You&nbsp;conduct&nbsp;and&nbsp;accurately&nbsp;document&nbsp;QCM&nbsp;led&nbsp;project&nbsp;meetings,&nbsp;timely&nbsp;record,&nbsp;and&nbsp;issue&nbsp;and&nbsp;distribute&nbsp;the&nbsp;meeting&nbsp;minutes. You&nbsp;coordinate&nbsp;the&nbsp;inspections&nbsp;and&nbsp;testing&nbsp;of&nbsp;project&nbsp;requirements&nbsp;from&nbsp;the&nbsp;specifications&nbsp;and&nbsp;project&nbsp;Testing&nbsp;and&nbsp;Inspection&nbsp;Log.&nbsp;This&nbsp;includes&nbsp;ensuring&nbsp;the&nbsp;availability&nbsp;of&nbsp;adequate&nbsp;testing&nbsp;personnel,&nbsp;equipment&nbsp;and&nbsp;laboratory&nbsp;compliance. You&nbsp;review&nbsp;test&nbsp;methods&nbsp;and&nbsp;procedures&nbsp;with&nbsp;in-house&nbsp;technicians&nbsp;and&nbsp;subcontractor&nbsp;labs&nbsp;as&nbsp;needed.&nbsp;You&nbsp;discuss&nbsp;the&nbsp;requirements&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;Superintendent&nbsp;to&nbsp;ensure&nbsp;all&nbsp;testing&nbsp;is&nbsp;performed&nbsp;according&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;proper&nbsp;procedures,&nbsp;and&nbsp;all&nbsp;the&nbsp;data&nbsp;is&nbsp;properly&nbsp;collected. You&nbsp;ensure&nbsp;incoming&nbsp;products&nbsp;and&nbsp;materials&nbsp;are&nbsp;acceptable&nbsp;(i.e.,&nbsp;specification,&nbsp;grade,&nbsp;timeliness). You&nbsp;initiate,&nbsp;communicate,&nbsp;and&nbsp;track&nbsp;non-conformance&nbsp;corrective&nbsp;actions.&nbsp;Discusses&nbsp;resolution&nbsp;ideas&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;project&nbsp;team&nbsp;and&nbsp;properly&nbsp;dispositions. You comply with safety procedures/policies and addresses and/or elevate non-compliance among all employees, subcontractors, and vendors. Other&nbsp;duties&nbsp;as&nbsp;assigned.&nbsp; What&nbsp;it&nbsp;takes? Bachelor’s&nbsp;degree&nbsp;in&nbsp;engineering,&nbsp;architecture&nbsp;or&nbsp;construction&nbsp;management/science&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;minimum&nbsp;of&nbsp;2&nbsp;years&nbsp;construction&nbsp;experience&nbsp;on&nbsp;construction&nbsp;similar&nbsp;to&nbsp;this&nbsp;scope&nbsp;of&nbsp;work&nbsp;(preferred),&nbsp;or&nbsp;a&nbsp;minimum&nbsp;of&nbsp;5&nbsp;years&nbsp;construction&nbsp;experience&nbsp;on&nbsp;construction&nbsp;similar&nbsp;to&nbsp;this&nbsp;scope&nbsp;of&nbsp;work&nbsp;(preferred). Ability&nbsp;to&nbsp;work&nbsp;6&nbsp;weeks&nbsp;on&nbsp;and&nbsp;1&nbsp;week&nbsp;off&nbsp;rotations&nbsp;for&nbsp;projects. Minimum 1 Year experience in the Three Phases of Control Quality Management System utilized by USACE and other Federal Government Agencies USACE/NAVFAC Construction Quality Management (CQM) for Contractor's training certification (preferred) American&nbsp;Society&nbsp;for&nbsp;Quality&nbsp;(ASQ)&nbsp;certification&nbsp;as&nbsp;Quality&nbsp;Auditor&nbsp;(preferred)&nbsp;or&nbsp;Manager&nbsp;of&nbsp;Quality/Organization&nbsp;Excellence&nbsp;(preferred) Trained&nbsp;and&nbsp;experience&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;USACE&nbsp;Resident&nbsp;Management&nbsp;System&nbsp;(RMS)&nbsp;3.0&nbsp;or&nbsp;NAVFAC's&nbsp;ECMS&nbsp;system&nbsp;(preferred). Experience&nbsp;with&nbsp;submittal&nbsp;management. Strong&nbsp;attention&nbsp;to&nbsp;detail&nbsp;and&nbsp;time&nbsp;management&nbsp;skills.
