Cancer Registrar

Unit: CANCER REGISTRY Job Summary: The certified tumor registrar (CTR) is responsible for data entry into the tumor registry system, preparation and submitting of abstract to the State as required, establishing and maintaining relationships with the Cancer Committee, and continues to prepare and maintain information for accreditation purposes, plus much more. Requirements: Certified Tumor Registrar--CTR, Preferred--CTR & RHIT (Registered Health Information Technologist) or RHIA (Registered Health Information Administrator One year of experience as a CTR in a hospital setting.
