We are hiring a reliable Truck Driver to haul fabricated steel parts and finished goods throughout local port areas, plants, and laydown yards. If you're a safety-focused Truck Driver who enjoys consistent work and Monday through Friday schedules, this opportunity is for you! Position Details: Pay: $29.00 per hour Schedule: Monday through Friday, occasional Saturdays Home Daily Local Routes Only Class A CDL Required Manual Transmission Experience Required Flatbed Experience Preferred Truck Driver Responsibilities: Safely transport fabricated steel parts and finished goods Secure loads using straps on flatbed trailers Complete local deliveries to plants and laydown yards Perform drop-and-hook deliveries Handle routes that may exceed 20 stops per day Operate a standard sit-down forklift when unloading freight as needed Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies Qualifications: Valid Class A CDL Ability to operate a manual transmission Flatbed and load securement experience preferred Forklift experience is a plus Strong safety record and customer service skills Ability to work occasional Saturdays This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Truck Driver seeking stable local work.
