Why This Job – SENIOR ACCOUNTANT: This is a dynamic accounting opportunity where no two days look exactly the same . As a Senior Accountant, you’ll work across both front-end and back-end functions and play a meaningful role in the financial operations of multiple investment funds. You won’t simply be booking routine journal entries. You’ll analyze data, investigate unusual accounting issues, solve problems, and wear multiple hats across fund accounting, operations, and investor relations. What You'll Actually Do: Fund Accounting & Book Close: Take ownership of the close process and review the books for multiple investment funds. Operational Finance: Manage financial data flow, oversee daily cash activity, and efficiently prepare and execute wire transfers. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with third-party fund administrators, external auditors, tax professionals, and internal leadership. Investor Relations: Serve as a trusted point of contact for investors, responding to questions and providing accurate, timely information. To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field 2+ years progressive accounting experience Strong Excel skills are an absolute must. Exceptional attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves, dig into the data, and solve complex problems . The ability to work with increasing independence, know when to ask questions, embrace feedback, and consistently deliver a clean, accurate final product. Where and How Much: Target Compensation: $80K – $95K DOE Location: In-office, South Denver Benefits: 3 weeks PTO, Pre-tax Healthcare
