RN -Half Time (Detox Day Shift )

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care in partnership with physicians, interdisciplinary care team, and patient/family, focusing on the provision of individualized quality patient care consistent with organizational standards. The RN is accountable for patient/family education in collaboration with interdisciplinary care team and patient/family. The RN will document nursing care and patient status in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care; provide a safe environment and promote quality patient care through adherence to established standards. The RN will also identify opportunities for and participate in performance improvement activities; demonstrate competent professional practice, and engage in opportunities for professional growth while contributing to the productivity and professional environment of the department. Current NJ RN license, BLS with 1-2 years of recent Med-Surg experience with Substance Abuse/Detox required. The RN must also possess exceptional customer service, communication, critical thinking, and independent decision making skills.
