# General Manager - Pest Control

The General Manager is responsible for the overall success of the branch including leading people, operations, financial performance, compliance, and customer experience. This role drives business and revenue goals, develops and holds teams accountable, resolves complex customer and employee matters, and ensures company standards and priorities are consistently executed. The General Manager partners closely with leadership to improve performance, support growth, and build a strong, high performing branch. The responsibilities and requirements outlined below are intended to describe the general scope of the position and may not include every duty, task, or qualification associated with the role. What You’ll Be Responsible For Branch Leadership and Performance Direct day to day branch activities and hold the team accountable to established goals, revenue expectations, sales objectives, and performance metrics. Create a positive, inclusive, and performance focused environment where employees understand expectations and are supported in achieving results. Monitor overall branch performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service, and profitability. People Leadership and Development Recruit, develop, coach, and support management and branch employees. Ensure team members understand applicable safety requirements, company policies, procedures, and operational expectations. Maintain accurate records of required employee training and certifications. Compliance and Risk Management Maintain compliance with applicable local and state requirements, industry regulations, licensing obligations, safety standards, and business requirements. Ensure branch practices and employees operate within established company and regulatory guidelines. Customer and Employee Support Lead the resolution of escalated customer concerns and service issues while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Address employee relations matters and operational issues promptly and appropriately. Manage incidents and escalations in a way that protects service quality, employee experience, and branch performance. Business Partnership Work closely with regional leadership to implement company programs, initiatives, and operational priorities. Support branch growth objectives and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Contribute to overall company goals while ensuring branch execution remains consistent with established standards. The base pay range for this position is $90,000.00 – $110,000.00. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including job-related knowledge and skills, qualifications, experience, and market location. What You’ll Bring Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline preferred, or 2+ years of management experience within the pest control industry. Demonstrated experience leading teams, managing business performance, and holding employees accountable to established goals and expectations. Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with the ability to effectively manage customer, employee, and operational matters. Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license with a minimum of 3 consecutive years of driving history. Operation of a company vehicle is an essential function of the position. Ability to obtain and maintain required state training and pest control licenses, when applicable. The training and licensing support required will be provided. Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment and effectively balance people leadership, operational priorities, customer needs, and business objectives. Physical and Work Environment Requirements The General Manager works across office, branch, and field environments and must be able to perform the essential functions of the position. This role may involve: Lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, with occasional heavier lifting. Standing for extended periods, completing physical activities, and performing repetitive movements. Using clear near and distance vision with the ability to adjust focus as needed. Working around pesticides, chemicals, pests, mold, allergens, and other structural or environmental hazards. Using required personal protective equipment and following applicable safety requirements. Working in environments with moderate levels of noise.
