Role Overview: This position involves providing direct patient care in a specialized Cardiac ICU, focusing on critically ill cardiac patients. The nurse will assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance. Key Responsibilities: Promote patient and family-centered care, including education on illness management and post-treatment needs. Develop and document individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team and patients or families. Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences and barriers. Participate in activities enhancing patient safety and professional development. Work in a safety-sensitive environment, demonstrating alertness and safe practices. Qualifications & Skills: Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred with at least 2 years of experience. Critical care, step-down, or cardiac experience is strongly preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on high-quality patient care. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
