Position Title JOB DESCRIPTION Graphic Designer Pay Rate PL6 (USCORE) Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range. Variable pay may provide additional opportunities for financial awards. This job is eligible to participate in IP’s annual incentive plan. Category/Shift Salaried Full-Time Physical Location: Bentonville, AR The Job You Will Perform Responsible for graphics design and use operation and setup of computer graphic systems to develop designs that meet customer needs. Executes graphic projects and assists in coordination of all graphic production scheduling; coordinates production support with outside vendors as needed. Ensures that graphic projects are completed on time within budget and to user's satisfaction. Interfaces with users to determine scope of project and best graphic medium. Utilizes current graphic design technology and computer software and hardware mediums to develop designs. Prepares designs for proofing mock-up and final output to film. Originates design art and copy layouts. Determines style size and arrangement of type and illustrations. Provides instructions or directly assembles and prepares final layouts for production. Typically reports to graphic design leader or supervisor. The Skills You Will Bring BS or BA in related field or equivalent experience. A minimum of 3 years of POP graphic design experience is preferred. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator Creativity and a passion for innovative thinking. Proficiency in FormZ, Strata or other comparable 3D modeling application is a plus. Knowledge of offset lithographic, flexographic and digital printing processes and the requirements to be considered when developing artwork. Excellent time management, organizational, communication, and Interpersonal skills. Comfortable working on multiple projects under tight time constraints.
