Project Manager - Commercial Interior Design

We are looking for a Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead tenant improvement (TI) projects from preconstruction through closeout for an established general contractor in Phoenix, Arizona. You will work closely with Superintendents, Estimators, and executive leadership, and serve as the main point of contact for owners, architects, and subcontractors. Projects range from $3M to $50M across office, retail, medical, hospitality, and industrial environments. Every project is in the Phoenix metro area, so there is no long-term travel. What You'll Do Lead project delivery Own commercial TI, renovation, and build-out projects from preconstruction through closeout and turnover. Manage multiple concurrent projects while keeping scope, schedule, budget, and quality on track. Build and maintain project schedules, identify critical-path items, and mitigate risk early. Manage budgets, cost reporting, change orders, and forecasting. Manage clients and stakeholders Act as the primary liaison for owners, architects, engineers, and property management teams. Lead subcontractor buyout, scope review, procurement, and trade coordination. Build long-term client relationships through proactive communication and dependable follow-through. Drive technical quality Review and interpret drawings, specifications, contracts, and project scopes. Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress, quality, schedule, and safety. Champion jobsite safety and ensure OSHA and company compliance. Manage the accelerated schedules and changing requirements typical of TI work. Lead and mentor Mentor and support project team members. Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting. Oversee punch lists, closeout, turnover, and final client satisfaction. Support estimating and preconstruction efforts as needed. What You Bring 5+ years of full-charge Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor. Significant experience managing commercial TI, renovation, build-out, or interior construction projects. Experience taking projects from preconstruction through final turnover. Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, estimating, buyout, and cost control. Solid knowledge of construction administration, safety standards, and local building requirements. Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills with owners, architects, subcontractors, and clients. Excellent leadership and organizational skills. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Preferred: Established TI experience in the Phoenix metro area, across sectors such as office, retail, medical, hospitality, and industrial. Committed to integrity and long-term relationships. Compensation $110,000-$130,000 + Bonus
