# Accounting Manager

Randstad

Responsible for managing the general and project related accounting function and supervision of accounting professionals. Effectively communicate with Project Managers (PM) regarding contract documents, change orders and other contract modifications, approvals, and any additional services-related to billing. Enters and maintains all project information in the accounting software. Support monthly billing cycle for multiple offices and multiple PMs. Prepare final invoice packages, including all applicable backup in an accurate and timely manner. Understand Revenue Recognition, the various methods that are used and ramifications of each type. Review AR statements and monitor collections. Research and summarize any unbilled issues to optimize the billing possibilities for the billing period. Maintain the electronic billing folders for all projects, in accordance with standard procedures. Develop relationships with client and consultant accounting departments to insure accurate billings and prompt payment of our invoices, resolving any issues promptly and professionally. Communicate with accounts payables team regarding client billing relative to consultant invoicing and reimbursable expenses. Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience; supervisory experience required BA REQUIRED Industry experience required: engineering, construction, or architecture Solid understanding of US GAAP DELTEK Vision software REQUIRED $65,000-$85,000 Please contact Abby Tannenbaum directly at 213-289-5953 All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
