What You Will Do Join a team dedicated to building and maintaining Pratt & Whitney’s Development Network Application (DNA), a cloud-enabled, full-stack web platform that integrates data from multiple enterprise systems to streamline engine test, assembly, and validation workflows. This role focuses on creating scalable, modern web applications to support critical business operations and improve efficiency across various engineering processes. Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and cloud-native architectures to support enterprise applications. Develop modern web applications, including frontend and backend components, to enable dashboards, workflow automation, and multi-disciplinary integrations. Implement reliable enterprise data integrations to streamline communication and reduce operational risks. Deploy and support applications in cloud environments, ensuring high performance and maintainability. Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver features that address program needs and enhance operational transparency. Support the expansion of platform capabilities, including browser-based and mobile-friendly interfaces. Maintain accountability for the quality, performance, and continuous delivery of software solutions. Travel is up to 10%. What You Will Learn In this role, you’ll deepen your understanding of how modern web applications drive efficiency, insight, and alignment across large engineering organizations. Craft user experiences that turn complex information into intuitive, meaningful visualizations. Participate in shaping backend service patterns that support growth, reliability, and clarity. Work with data contexts to understand how information becomes actionable for real users. Navigate cloud‑based delivery environments where performance, security, and resilience all matter. Refine features through close collaboration with stakeholders, focusing on usability, clarity, and workflow improvement. Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) 5 years of engineering experience, or an Advanced degree with 3 years of engineering experience. Experience in full-stack development using modern web technologies for both frontend and backend applications. Experience integrating data from multiple enterprise systems to support business operations. Experience designing and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs. U.S. Citizen

Familiarity with cloud-native frameworks (e.g., Quarkus) for building maintainable backend architectures. Experience developing mobile-friendly or multi-platform interfaces (browser and mobile). Experience supporting integrations across multiple test, assembly, or validation phases, such as dashboards or discrepancy tracking tools. Experience enabling process automation or efficiency-improving features in complex engineering environments. Experience deploying and supporting applications in cloud environments. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD
• 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
