Software Engineer

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role • Design and implement fault-tolerant distributed systems and services that operate at scale with high availability guarantees. • Research and identify new technologies to optimize system performance within complex architectures. • Develop software to minimize outages and improve service availability using operational excellence techniques. • Contribute to the design and implementation of systems capable of scaling significantly within the next two years. • Engage in full-stack development, including back-end API development, security, data storage, and infrastructure automation. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. • 3+ years of professional software development experience. • Knowledge of computer architecture, operating systems, and parallel computing. • Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations. • Experience contributing to system architecture and design, including patterns, reliability, and scaling.
