# Registered Nurse - Medical ICU (MICU)

Join a specialized ICU team as a registered nurse responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill adults in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include: assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; educating patients and families on illness management and post-treatment needs; developing care plans collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams; promoting safety and quality compliance; and participating in professional development activities. Qualifications: RN license required; BSN and CCRN preferred; prior ICU experience is advantageous; ability to work in safety-sensitive roles with alertness and professionalism. Skills needed: strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills. Work environment: 42-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit with rotating or straight night shifts, including every third weekend. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and delivering compassionate care in a high-acuity setting.
