Utility - Dryers

Description/Job Summary Safety Sensitive Position Schedule: Monday • Friday 7:00a.m. • 4:00p.m., overtime as needed including weekends and 12-hour shifts during harvest. Job Summary: Responsible for general cleaning and sanitation of the dryer area and equipment. Dry cleaning using compressed air and sweeping of equipment and structures of the area(s) on a defined frequency. Also responsible for assisting with dumping trucks and maintenance including changing of baghouse socks as needed. Basic Qualifications Must be able to read, speak and understand Basic English. Must be willing and able to lift up to 100 lbs. Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, twist, turn, push and pull throughout the day. Must be willing and able to climb up to 8 feet as needed. Must be willing and able to help with maintenance when needed. Must be willing and able to be trained to operate a truck dump. Must be willing and able to be trained to sweep, scoop, and blow down. Must be willing and able to work in all weather conditions. Must be willing and able to work in a dusty environment. Must be willing and able to walk/stand for long periods of time. Must be willing and able to work in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time. Must be willing and able to be trained to ride a man-lift. Must be willing and able to wear the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Must be willing and able to follow all safety and food safety rules. Other duties as requested.
