What You’ll Do Install residential furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, mini-split systems, thermostats, and indoor air quality equipment. Remove and properly dispose of existing HVAC equipment. Complete ductwork modifications, refrigerant piping, condensate drainage, venting, gas piping, wiring, and related system connections. Assist with equipment startup, testing, charging, airflow verification, and commissioning. Review job documentation, equipment specifications, and installation requirements before beginning work. Identify and communicate equipment, material, or jobsite concerns promptly. Follow manufacturer instructions, applicable codes, safety requirements, and company installation standards. Protect customers’ homes and maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite. Explain basic equipment operation and maintenance information to homeowners. Complete required job documentation, equipment records, and photos using company software. Maintain assigned tools, equipment, materials, and vehicle inventory. Participate in ongoing technical, product, safety, and customer service training. What We’re Looking For Previous residential HVAC installation experience preferred. Knowledge of furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, air handlers, mini-splits, ductwork, refrigeration, venting, and related components. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and code compliance. Professional appearance and respect for customers and their homes. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Dependable attendance, punctuality, and work ethic. Ability to follow instructions and complete assignments efficiently. Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and field service software. EPA certification preferred. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to lift equipment and materials and work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.
