Job Overview – Tax Manager Compensation: $120,000–$160,000/year + bonus + benefits Location: New Castle County, DE Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid) Atlantic Group is hiring a Tax Manager in New Castle County, DE for our client, overseeing corporate tax compliance, income tax reporting, tax provision, and domestic and international tax matters within a large corporate environment. The Tax Manager will manage federal, state, and international tax compliance, support quarterly and annual income tax provision processes, conduct tax research, and partner with finance and business teams on tax planning and reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of public accounting, corporate tax, or combined experience with strong expertise in corporate income tax, tax compliance, tax provision, and U.S. domestic and international taxation. Responsibilities as the Tax Manager: Tax Compliance: Manage and review U.S. domestic and international income tax compliance activities and related reporting requirements. Tax Provision: Support quarterly and annual income tax provision processes, including calculations, reconciliations, and supporting documentation. International Tax: Assist with international tax reporting, cross-border transactions, and other complex corporate tax matters. Tax Planning: Conduct tax research and analysis while supporting planning initiatives, transactions, and broader business decisions. Cross-Functional Support: Partner with finance, legal, treasury, and other stakeholders to address tax matters and support business initiatives. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to strengthen tax processes, controls, reporting, and technology-enabled workflows. Qualifications for the Tax Manager: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required, with an advanced degree in Taxation or a related field preferred. Certification: CPA is required. Experience: 5+ years of tax experience within public accounting, a large corporate environment, or a combination of both is required. Industry Knowledge: Strong U.S. domestic and international income tax compliance experience is required, with corporate tax provision, tax planning, and transaction-related experience preferred. Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with corporate tax and reporting systems are required. Skills & Attributes: Strong analytical, technical research, communication, organization, problem-solving, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment are required.
