Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary care team, providing high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care in an acute orthopaedic surgical setting. They collaborate with patients, families, and colleagues to deliver individualized care based on evidence-based standards, ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using clinical judgment and evidence-based practice. Partner with patients and families through effective communication and culturally sensitive care. Coordinate safe, quality care and document accurately within a collaborative environment. Support performance improvement initiatives, participate in research, and promote evidence-based practices. Mentor and serve as a preceptor to foster professional development and a healthy work environment. Adhere to organizational policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience. Valid RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and current BLS certification. Associate or Diploma in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred. Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills. Proficiency in technology and basic computer skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies effectively.
