Real Estate Fund Accountant

My client, a top Real Estate Asset Manager is looking for a Fund Accountant to join their expanding team due to growth. Our client works on a hybrid basis in downtown Chicago, offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefits. Key Responsibilities: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closes Calculate, interpret, and communicate financial performance returns Complete monthly financial analysis and review property manager (and joint venture partner) financial statements Handle cash management transactions and tracking Support reporting requirements, year-end audit, and tax processes Help improve financial reporting processes and client service Identify problems and propose solutions Assist with special projects as assigned Requirements: 1-3 years of accounting experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting CPA preferred (or willingness to pursue) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in self-review Highly organized, able to multi-task Team player who also works well independently Solid grasp of technical accounting concepts Strong Excel/MS Office proficiency For more information, please apply or reach out to emma.bradley@oliverjames.com directly.
