Part Time Senior Companion (Spanish Speaking / Dementia Experience Required) – North Miami Beach, FL   A warm and attentive family in North Miami Beach is seeking a compassionate, Spanish-speaking caregiver to provide part-time, non-medical support and companionship for an 82-year-old woman with stage 4/5 dementia. Schedule: 3 days per week (exact days flexible) 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM Approximately 18 hours per week guaranteed   Family Specifications: Peaceful, non-smoking home environmentPrimary language spoken in the home is Cuban SpanishFamily-managed care led by care recipient's daughter   Responsibilities: Provide engaging companionship and gentle interaction in Spanish (e.g., conversation, watching preferred TV programs) Assist with personal hygiene and daily routine Prepare meals tailored to recipient's preferences Maintain a safe, supportive, and safe environment tailored to stage 4/5 dementia care needs   Requirements: Native or fluent Spanish speaker (Cuban Spanish fluency preferred) 1+ years of experience with senior care and moderate-to-severe dementia (Stage 4/5) CPR and First Aid certified Must have reliable transportation   Preferred: Native Cuban Spanish speaker Specialized training in memory care or dementia redirection   Compensation: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour (commensurate with experience) All candidates will be subject to a background check.
