Role Description The Human Resources Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Odessa, TX. This position is responsible for supporting the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding for shop and office personnel. Day-to-day tasks include administering HR policies, maintaining employee records, coordinating benefits enrollment, and assisting with timekeeping and attendance matters. The specialist will help address employee questions, support performance management processes, and ensure compliance with employment regulations and company procedures. This role collaborates closely with management to promote a safe, respectful, and productive work environment aligned with company goals. Qualifications Strong knowledge of Human Resources (HR) fundamentals, including core HR practices and compliance requirements. Experience in HR Management and Personnel Management, with the ability to support supervisors and employees in day-to-day HR matters. Ability to develop, interpret, and apply HR Policies that are consistent, fair, and compliant with relevant regulations. Working knowledge of Employee Benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee support. Relevant education such as an associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail in documentation and recordkeeping. Proficiency with HRIS or HR-related software and basic office applications (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing). Ability to work on-site in an industrial environment in Odessa, TX and collaborate effectively with a diverse workforce. Experience in manufacturing, industrial services, or a repair shop setting is beneficial.
