# Software Engineer

This company develops and deploys category-defining, data-driven, software-as-a-service (SaaS) products for a broad spectrum of insurance clients, fostering an entrepreneurial and collaborative culture of innovation and excellence. The Role Design, develop, maintain, and improve software and other technical solutions that solve business challenges Develop and maintain modern front-end applications and supporting backend-for-frontend (BFF) APIs and service integrations Play a key role in redesigning monolithic legacy products in AWS Mentor team members on software engineering best practices Focus on overall product quality and participate in code reviews Responsibly self-manage workload given project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables What You'll Need 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience Strong experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript for modern application development Experience developing or supporting backend services and BFF APIs using C# (.NET 8) and SQL Cloud development experience with AWS and understanding of DevOps best practices using GitHub and Terraform Experience with full software development lifecycle and Agile practices (e.g. Scrum) Excellent technical design, problem-solving, and debugging skills, with experience in domain-driven and microservice architecture What's On Offer An entrepreneurial and collaborative culture focused on innovation and excellence Opportunities for sustained growth, career development, and skill training Competitive compensation and benefits, with a focus on work-life balance Apply via Haystack today!
