This contract opportunity is perfect for a dedicated School Psychologist looking to work with diverse learners ranging from early childhood to young adulthood for the upcoming school years. Both part-time and full-time schedules will be considered, with a strong preference for full-time availability. Qualifications And Desired Experience Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution Active Rhode Island School Psychologist certification (RIDE 5403) Experience providing psychological services within a K-12 educational setting is preferred Strong skills in assessments, counseling, collaboration, and data analysis Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students ages 3–21 Support development of and participation in IEP eligibility determinations and meetings Provide direct and consultative counseling as well as behavioral interventions to students Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers Assist with school-wide and targeted student intervention plans, crisis support, and progress monitoring Facilitate data collection, interpretation, and reporting to support student success and compliance This role offers the chance to make meaningful connections with students and staff, with flexible scheduling options and a professionally rewarding, school-based environment.
