Precision CNC Mill Technician — 4 & 5 Axis

Role snapshot Join our production team to operate multi-axis CNC mills within a flexible manufacturing cell featuring several Okuma milling centers. You’ll execute efficient setups, produce precision components, and verify quality at every step. Schedule and differential Openings on First and Second shifts Night shift includes a 10% pay differential What you’ll do Run 4- and 5-axis milling operations in an FMC environment Read blueprints and follow on-screen instructions in our proprietary platform Complete machine setups for production runs and optimize for throughput Apply company safety policies and maintain a clean, organized work area Interpret engineering drawings to establish inspection criteria Measure parts with micrometers, calipers, and gauges; review CMM data Document and communicate clearly using Office 365 (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Must-have qualifications Hands-on experience with 4- and 5-axis mill operation Proven quality inspection experience and meticulous attention to detail History of setting up machines for production General understanding of CNC production and inspection workflows Team-first mindset and strong written/verbal communication Drive to contribute to continuous improvement Preferred background Okuma CNC mill operation Fastems FPC or similar automated machining systems Experience working with and interpreting CMM inspections Tools and tech VMC (3–4 axis): Mazak, Haas, Okuma, Brother, Dmg Mori Seiki VMC (5+ axis): Haas, Okuma, Dmg Mori Seiki HMC (3–4 axis): Haas, Okuma, Doosan HMC (5+ axis): Mazak, Okuma Zeiss CMM with Calypso 1Factory quality management Precision measurement gauges Our vision and values Vision: Be the Standard of Excellence in precision manufacturing Mission: Deliver the highest-quality products and services on time; pursue continuous improvement; operate with integrity Values: Honesty, trust, passion, productivity, loyalty, commitment
