Amazing Express Inc is committed to delivering trust, speed, and reliability mile after mile. Role Description This full-time, on-site CDL A Truck Driver role is based in Fort Mill, SC. The driver will safely operate CDL A vehicles to transport freight, including step deck, oversize, heavy haul, and RGN loads, following all federal, state, and company regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing and tarping loads as needed, maintaining accurate logs and delivery documentation, and communicating proactively with dispatch and logistics staff. The driver will plan routes for efficiency and compliance, manage schedules to meet delivery deadlines, and represent Amazing Express Inc professionally with customers and partners. The role also involves reporting equipment issues promptly and supporting a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license, clean driving record, and current DOT medical certification. Proven experience operating tractors and trailers, including step deck, oversize, heavy haul, or RGN equipment. Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, hours-of-service rules, and safe driving practices. Skills in load securement, basic vehicle inspection, and minor on-the-road troubleshooting. Ability to read and follow route plans, shipping documents, and safety instructions. Effective communication skills for working with dispatch, customers, and team members. Reliability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and customer service. Ability to lift and handle equipment related to load securement and tarping when required. Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional nights or weekends based on load requirements. Previous experience in long-haul or specialized trucking is preferred but not required.
