RN, NICU (36hrs, Nights) → "Registered Nurse - NICU - Full-Time"

Responsibilities Job Summary: Assess patients through comprehensive multi-system evaluations, including biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, and discharge planning needs. Develop individualized nursing care plans, coordinate patient care and discharge planning with other departments, and delegate activities based on patient condition and scope of practice. Implement care protocols, accurately document in electronic medical records, administer medications, and perform procedures correctly, utilizing a multidisciplinary approach when appropriate. Evaluate patient responses to care, reassess ongoing needs, and participate in quality assurance activities. Qualifications Minimum nine months of RN experience or completion of a specialized NICU internship program with eighteen months NICU experience in the last five years. Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Valid RN license for the state, Basic Life Support, and Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification at hire. Computer skills required. Preferred Skills Previous healthcare experience, bachelor's degree in nursing or related field, and bilingual Spanish-English skills are preferred.
