# Pre-Detail/Car Washer

At Mercedes-Benz of Seattle, every vehicle returned to a guest -- from a service visit or a new purchase -- is expected to be clean. The Car Washer is the person who makes that happen. It's consistent, hands-on work that matters more than it might sound: a guest who gets their Mercedes back spotless after a service visit remembers it. One who doesn't, also remembers it. What You'll Do Wash and dry service and sales vehicles to a consistent, guest-ready standard -- exterior hand washes, window cleaning, and tire dressing on every vehicle Perform basic interior prep -- vacuuming, wiping down surfaces, and removing debris so the vehicle is clean inside and out before it's returned Stage clean vehicles in designated areas and coordinate with service advisors and sales consultants on vehicle readiness and priority Move vehicles carefully between the wash bay, service lane, and lot as directed Inspect vehicles during the wash process and immediately report any visible damage or concerns to the appropriate team member Keep the wash area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies throughout the shift What We're Looking For Valid driver's license with a clean driving record -- required Consistent and thorough -- this is detail work done at volume and the standard needs to hold across every vehicle, not just the first few of the day Reliable and punctual -- the service and sales operations depend on clean vehicles being ready when they're needed No automotive or detailing experience required -- we'll train you on our process and products What We Offer $24/hr Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and supplemental coverage options Paid time off and paid holidays A clear path forward -- car washers who demonstrate quality and reliability at Swickard grow into detailing, porter, and service support roles Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts WHY MERCEDES-BENZ OF SEATTLE A luxury brand environment where the standard applied to every vehicle return is genuinely high -- the work is consistent and the expectation is clear, which makes it straightforward to do well A well-run Seattle Mercedes-Benz store with a professional team and consistent daily volume -- steady, reliable work in an environment that takes quality seriously Swickard is one of the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country -- ranked Top 5 in North America for reputation in the automotive industry Our HEART values -- Honor, Engage, Anticipate, Respond, Thank -- apply to the care put into every vehicle just as much as every guest interaction If you do hands-on work to a consistent standard, hold yourself to it without being managed step by step, and want a steady role at a well-run Seattle luxury dealership -- apply.
