Senior Financial Analyst

Large healthcare org targeting a "hungry" Senior Financial Analyst ready to dig deep into a strong high volume fast paced FPA role! Salary: $105,000–$115,000 annually Location: Whittier Schedule: Hybrid—initially four days onsite and one day remote per week, with increased flexibility planned Systems: NetSuite and advanced Excel This role combines financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis with regular stakeholder meetings to help teams understand their results and improve operational performance. Responsibilities Serve as a financial business partner to facility and operations leaders, lead financial review meetings, and translate results into actionable recommendations. Build and maintain financial models, budgets, and forecasts across multiple facilities. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, investigate variances, and present findings to stakeholders. Analyze operational drivers, including census, payer mix, labor costs, and reimbursement trends, to identify opportunities for improvement. Partner with the FP&A team on month-end close, audits, and strategic projects. Respond to financial questions and analysis requests with a strong service mindset. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. At least five years of FP&A or financial analysis experience, including support for multiple facilities. Advanced Excel proficiency and strong financial modeling skills. Demonstrated ability to explain financial information to nonfinancial audiences and advise operational leaders. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Healthcare experience, particularly skilled nursing or long-term care. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting and dashboard tools. Familiarity with NetSuite, other ERP platforms, and healthcare data systems.
