Our resistors and power protection equipment keep critical infrastructure running, from power grids and mass transit systems to data centers and industrial facilities across North America. Demand for what we make has grown significantly in recent years, and we're building the team to meet it, starting with stronger floor leadership to support that growth. The Role This is a full-time, floor-based leadership role. You'll directly supervise the production supervisors across Assembly, Fabrication, and Shipping, along with the maintenance team, and you'll be the one turning production schedules and sales orders into daily execution. You'll work closely with Engineering, Purchasing, Planning, Finance, and HR to keep the floor running safely and predictably, and with the VP of Manufacturing on longer-range capacity, staffing, and equipment planning. This role matters because PGR is scaling, and we need someone who can bring structure and discipline to how the floor operates while building the training and succession pipeline our supervisors and skilled technical staff will need for years to come. What You'll Be Doing Directly supervise production supervisors across Assembly, Fabrication, and Shipping, plus the maintenance team Set clear performance and quality expectations and give regular, documented feedback Build training, cross-training, and succession plans so key roles have a ready next person Plan daily production, allocate staffing, and manage overtime to hit delivery and cost targets Keep materials, workflow, and equipment availability aligned with the schedule alongside Purchasing and Planning Hold the floor accountable for safe work practices and partner with the Safety Committee on PPE, incident reporting, and floor procedures Lead 5S and housekeeping standards and work with Quality to strengthen conformance to procedures What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, operations management, or a related field 5+ years of manufacturing operations experience, ideally in a custom or engineered-to-order environment 2+ years of supervisory experience, including experience leading supervisors or team leads Bilingual in English and Spanish strongly preferred Experience with lean, 5S, or continuous improvement methods; formal certification is a plus Experience with metal fabrication and assembly operations is a plus Experience in a higher-volume or more process-driven manufacturing environment is a plus Comfortable with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel What's in It for You $99,915 – $134,205 per year, depending on experience Full-time schedule built around first-shift hours, with some flexibility as business needs require Health, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with 5% company match Company-paid Life, short-term, and long-term disability On-site fitness center Real opportunity to shape how PGR's shop floor operates as the company grows Pre-employment background check, drug screen (excludes THC/marijuana), and physical required.
