The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver responsible for a group of patients, providing care through the nursing process, utilizing current trends, technology, and resources within the institutional philosophy. Responsibilities include: performing unit-specific duties, implementing procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, conducting initial patient assessments, developing and modifying care plans, and ensuring patient and staff safety. Initiating and managing IV therapy, reporting safety hazards, and responding to patient status changes appropriately. Communicating effectively with team members, offering feedback, and participating in professional development and departmental competencies. Adhering to documentation standards and attending staff meetings. Qualifications: Current Licensed RN certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days, and relevant work experience. Strong communication skills, safety awareness, and commitment to quality patient care are essential.
