CDL A Delivery Driver

Role Overview: The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting products from the warehouse to customers, ensuring timely delivery and proper unloading according to company standards. Key Responsibilities: Safely operate tractor-trailers, unload products in all weather conditions, complete accurate paperwork, adhere to food safety and safety protocols, and maintain equipment. Develop strong customer relationships through courteous service and clear communication. Handle backhauls and line hauls, ensuring correct and timely deliveries. Follow work schedules, report issues, and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; preferred tractor trailer driving experience or completion of a driving school. Must hold a valid Class A CDL and be insurable. Knowledge of DOT regulations, safe lifting, and delivery practices. Skills in long-distance driving, problem-solving, and effective communication. Ability to operate various equipment, read/write English, perform basic math, and work independently. Physical & Work Environment: Regularly lift/move up to 50 pounds, climb in/out of vehicles, and operate in varying weather conditions. Exposure to noise, fumes, and mechanical parts. May work overnight, weekends, and holidays, with occasional confined spaces and high places.
