FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST

You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the OFFICE of ASN. You will define and maintain a product roadmap for business processes aligning it with the overall business strategy and goals to include prioritizing features, enhancements, and integrations. You will utilize data and metrics for sizing and analyzing impact of business process changes and decision making. You will provide authoritative recommendations to correct program variances and problem areas. You will coordinate the implementation of major enhancements to financial reporting systems and processes to improve enterprise-wide transparency , accountability and executive decision making. You will optimize AI to automate and perform analytics for business process efficiency, decision making, and modernization. You will lead or actively participate in all test events including User Acceptance testing to ensure that system changes meet business requirements and are fit for purpose. You will create and maintain a prioritized product backlog for the systems and tools, based on business value, technical feasibility, and risk. You will translate business requirements into detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria. You will standardize business capabilities within and outside the financial system to include identifying and addressing bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks. You will continuously analyze, evaluate, and improve the Navy’s business processes, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce costs, improve usability, and enhance controls. You will lead and manage process changes, ensuring that they are communicated effectively and implemented within the DON. You will translate business needs and challenges into clear and concise business requirements for SAP’s S4/HANA implementation. You will maintain process governance frameworks, including process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials. You will effectively communicate process changes, system changes, and performance results to stakeholders, soliciting feedback and addressing concerns. You will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders, including Navy Command Business Officers, Senior Navy Executives, and all stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for ERP+ initiatives You will coordinate with all stakeholders and workforce for capability requirements inputs, providing recommendations to executives for decisions. You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the End-to-End Individual Product Teams and be responsible for business process development, execution and standardization. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience with one or more of the Department of the Navy's end-to-end business process (e.g. procure to pay, order to cash, acquire to retire, propose to reward, plan to stock, budget to report, hire to retire), processes, including best practices, industry standards, and regulatory requirements Experience tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) for the End-to-Ends or other process areas Experience developing and maintaining dashboards and reports to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive improvement initiatives; Experience building strong relationships with key stakeholders to foster collaboration and trust.
