# RN Staff Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab Full-time with Call

Summary Of Role And Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and indirect patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab . Responsibilities include Assessing patient condition and interpreting data to identify individual needs Administering medications and assisting physicians during procedures Operating specialized equipment and maintaining sterile techniques Ensuring radiation safety and adherence to policies and procedures Qualifications And Skills Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred Current Tennessee RN license; BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Knowledge of nursing principles, cardiovascular trends, and organizational policies Experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a Cardiac Cath Lab Familiarity with sterile procedures, Cath lab equipment, and radiation safety Strong assessment, critical thinking, and developmentally appropriate care skills Additional Notes Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) is preferred and encouraged after one year of experience.
