Sports Assistant NF-02

This position is located at Fryar Fieldhouse on Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Supports activities and services of the athletics and intramural sports program. Provides oversight of events and tournaments. Monitors condition of, cleans, and performs minor maintenance on athletics equipment. Assists in setting up for special events and sports tournaments. Assists with the publicity of events and tournaments as well as assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers, and other promotional material. Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of the position. Must be able to obtain a nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": One (1) year of full-time work experience in the sports and fitness industry. Possess a current nationally recognized certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED.
