Job Title: Database Security Engineer Location: Washington, DC Experienced Database Security Engineer with proven professional experience in the design, implementation, and management/monitoring of database security software and controls in a regulated multi-dataset environment (PII, PHI, FTI). Based on compliance requirements, and in coordination with the functional teams (Application Development, Operations & Maintenance (O&M), and Security), Enterprise Security Team, and customer agencies, the Core duties associated with the role are as follows: Lead the design, implementation, and configuration of database security architecture, software, and controls. Design and develop database monitoring and reporting tools. Monitor and report on access to sensitive data, and respond to data breaches accordingly. Develop and maintain configuration management solutions. Create procedures to help teams make the most out of the available infrastructure. Other related duties as assigned. Must’s: Professional experience with Oracle and IBM Cúram databases and software
