Chef/Kitchen Manager, Senior Living

Walker Methodist Shared Services seeks a Chef/Kitchen Manager to prepare high-quality meals according to therapeutic diets/preferences, manage food orders/inventory, customer service satisfaction, adhere to budget guidelines and supervise cooks. The Chef/Kitchen Manager must be willing to regularly travel to all Walker Methodist communities in St. Paul and Minneapolis. Full-time days, Monday through Friday including every other weekend. Minimum qualifications: Associates degree in Culinary Arts ServSafe certification and/or Food Managers license High school diploma or equivalent Able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis Working knowledge of food preparation methods and terminology Three years experience as a culinary supervisor in the food industry Ability to effectively lead and develop cooks, dishwashers and waitstaff Ability to live Walker Methodists Customer Service Principles Ability to embrace Walker Methodists Mission: Life.
