# Senior Recruiter – AI Research & Engineering

General Intuition & Medal

ABOUT THE COMPANY
General Intuition is the frontier lab for acting in space and time. We build large action models and world models that can perceive, predict, and act across virtual and physical environments. General Intuition builds on the strength of Medal, the world's largest and fastest-growing platform for gaming clips, where millions of gamers capture, share, and discover new games every year. We've raised over $650M from Khosla, GC, Valor, and Point72 since October 2025, and recently closed our latest round at a $6.2B valuation.
THE ROLE
You will build the talent function alongside our Head of Talent and own the full recruiting cycle end to end, from sourcing strategy through close. You'll design, implement, and run the processes and programs the rest of the talent team works from: interview processes, targeted recruiting campaigns, relationships with industry leaders, and long-term talent pools.
You'll partner directly with our research and engineering leaders to identify, engage, and win the people who will define what we build next: frontier AI researchers, technical staff, and engineers working on frontier problems in world models and embodied intelligence. You'll go deep with hiring managers on hiring needs, team matching, and required qualifications, own a stellar candidate experience throughout, and play a significant role in selling and winning the candidate.
You'll use the latest technology, especially AI agents, to take friction out of the function, from data-driven sourcing to automated outreach sequences, scheduling, note-taking, and feedback collection. You'll build the employer brands of General Intuition and Medal in the technical, research, and science communities, organize and attend the events where that talent is, and look for the unusual, high-alpha ideas nobody else is running.
This is an in-person role based in our New York City HQ.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Have 5+ years of experience in full life cycle technical recruiting supporting technical, AI, and/or research teams
• Have experience hiring frontier AI researchers, technical staff, and engineers working on other frontier problems (from LLMs to multimodal AI to robotics)
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and evaluate technical qualifications across software engineering, data engineering, and machine learning
• Have a passion for AI's potential to positively impact the world, and proactively learn and stay up to date on current technologies by interacting with research communities
• Want to build something: you're experimental with creative recruiting ideas and open to building systems for recruiting automation, sourcing analytics, or AI-assisted recruiting workflows
• Bring an existing network in the NYC technical and research community
