Position Overview   We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and technically skilled Data Analyst to support business operations by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from multiple sources. This role will transform complex datasets into actionable insights that support informed decision-making, improve operational efficiency, and identify opportunities for process optimization. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience working with SQL and Microsoft Excel, and the ability to develop dashboards and reports that clearly communicate insights to business stakeholders. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical teams and managing multiple analytical projects in a fast-paced environment.     Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain dashboards, recurring reports, and ad hoc reports tracking key business and operational metrics. Collect, analyze, and interpret data from internal systems, databases, and other business resources to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from relational databases. Monitor data quality and perform validation, cleansing, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities to ensure accuracy, integrity, and consistency across systems and reporting sources. Partner with business, operations, technology, finance, HR, and other teams to understand reporting requirements and translate business needs into meaningful analysis, reports, dashboards, and data visualizations. Identify opportunities to automate recurring reporting and improve analytical processes and efficiencies while supporting forecasting, capacity planning, performance measurement, and other strategic business initiatives. Present analytical findings, actionable insights, and recommendations clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, and maintain supporting data documentation, definitions, reporting processes, and standard operating procedures. Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned based on business needs.   Required Qualifications  Eligibility requirements: U.S. citizenship is required for this position under applicable federal contract requirements. Candidates must also be able to obtain and maintain the security clearance required for the role. Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a related field. Experience in data analytics, business intelligence, operations analytics, or a related analytical role. Strong SQL skills with experience querying, analyzing, and working with large relational datasets. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, formulas, data manipulation, and analysis, with experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, and actionable insights. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with strong attention to detail, organization, time management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.   Preferred Qualifications Experience with Python, R, Power Query, or other data analysis and automation tools. Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, data warehouse concepts, and cloud-based data platforms or enterprise reporting environments. Experience automating recurring reports and analytical workflows, including using data analysis to identify and support process improvement initiatives. Familiarity with data visualization best practices, data storytelling, Agile methodologies, and cross-functional project environments.
