Job Summary And Responsibilities As our Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery. Provides safe, comprehensive patient care through assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, pain management, patient positioning, fall/injury prevention, skin care, and recognition of patient deterioration. Demonstrates strong clinical and technical skills, including IV and central line management, blood specimen collection, urinary and NG catheter care, tracheostomy care, point-of-care testing, medication administration, and use of surgical/post-operative equipment. Ensures patient safety and regulatory compliance by following infection-control and standard precautions, medication and patient identification protocols, informed consent requirements, advance directives, confidentiality, National Patient Safety Goals, and organizational policies. Advocates for and educates patients and families, providing individualized education, emotional support, culturally responsive care, and opportunities for informed decision-making throughout the surgical experience. Collaborates effectively with the interdisciplinary team through accurate SBAR handoffs, delegation and supervision, care coordination, timely documentation, change-of-shift/transfer reporting, emergency preparedness, and ongoing professional development. Job Requirements Required Evidence of OR education and one (1) year current OR experience, upon hire Registered Nurse: CA RN, upon hire Basic Life Support
• BLS, upon hire Advanced Cardiac Life Support
• ACLS, upon hire Pediatric Advanced Life Support
