Financial Reporting Assistant Specialist/Specialist

Job Description Being responsible for preparing daily and weekly legal reports submitted to Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency, Central Bank and other regulatory institutions Assisting with the monthly legal reports submitted to Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency, Central Bank and other regulatory institutions Assisting with the quarterly financial audit process including preparation of financial audit report Assisting with the routine and ad-hoc Head Office reports submitted to Head Office Assisting with the month-end close process (where assigned) by reviewing and resolving any exceptions to general ledger including preparation of reports provided to management Performing analysis of the financial results and report cause of the variances, including analysis and understanding of accounting issues, and their impact Assisting with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures. Making sure that the Bank fulfills the legal requirements of Bank’s legal and internal ratios within approved limits Continuously monitoring the changes/updates in financial reporting standards and applications and apply those changes to Bank’s financial reports Overseeing the analysis process needed for development and testing of new IT systems for financial reporting and works to improve the efficiency of the Bank’s financial reporting systems Desired Skills & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related, Master degree is a plus Minimum between 1 and 5 years legal or financial reporting experience in banking sector Hands on knowledge of MS Office (specifically, Word and Excel) Ability to work with others as a team player or independently on an individual task Strong attention in details Eager to learn more Flexibility to work under pressure to meet changing work requirements and strict deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Project and people management skills Strong problem-solving skills Analytical thinking Advanced level of spoken and written English Ability to work under pressure without supervision No military obligation for male candidates
